Carolyn Mahon
Carolyn Mahon is the founder of the Immigration firm of Canada Welcomes You. Carolyn has an extensive background and 30 years of experience in all areas of Canadian Immigration.

Carolyn was born in England, UK, and immigrated to Canada as a young adult. Carolyn started her career working for the Federal Government of Canada with the Department of Citizenship & Immigration (CIC), where she worked for 16 years before deciding to devote her time to helping clients personally in her own private practice.

Carolyn held a variety of positions with Canada Immigration from Senior Immigration Officer to Adjudicator. This has given Carolyn the advantage of seeing things from 'both sides of the fence' and has given her the unique ability to assess clients Immigration applications with the insight and knowledge needed to ensure success when reviewed by Canadian Immigration Officials.

Carolyn and her friendly team at Canada Welcomes You are here to guide and help you in your quest to Canada.

Authorized Representative:

Carolyn Mahon is a Canadian citizen who is recognized as an Authorized Representative by Canadian Immigration authorities. In order to counteract abuse of both applicants and Canada's Immigration process, Immigration authorities will refuse to work with agents who are not licensed Authorized Representatives.

Carolyn is a licensed member of the regulatory body, the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council. You may verify Ms. Carolyn Mahon's status as a licensed immigration consultant by visiting the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council website (above) and clicking on the "Membership List" tab.

Carolyn is also a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants, CAPIC.

Unauthorized Representatives:

Ask to see the credentials and licensing proof of the person you hire to represent you in any Canadian Immigration matter. Make sure they are regulated and they must also be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to be authorized to do so. Some applicants pay lots of money to unauthorized agents who are incompetent and unethical and either don't do the work right or in some instances just disappear.

Why hire us?

Deciding to move to a new country, whether for a temporary or permanent purpose, can be one of the most important decisions you are going to make in your life. Why risk the chance that your application will fail or be rejected.

Canada's Immigration rules are extremely complex and confusing. Immigration officials process hundreds of applications every day and have a low tolerance for errors and mistakes. They will simply reject the application and send it back to you; usually with minimal explanation as to why it was rejected. This could be many months or even years after you sent the application in.

We are here to help you through this confusing and quite often overwhelming process and will represent you throughout the entire process. We will deal with Immigration authorities on your behalf and answer enquiries regarding your file in a timely and professional manner.

We will assess your case personally and recommend from the start the best approach for you. We know all the various Immigration and fast track streams to get you into Canada quickly. We will honestly tell you from the beginning what your chances of success are. We do not want to waste your time with unrealistic expectations. If we feel your options of success in Canada are limited, we will tell you so. Canada Welcomes You wants to do just that, help you through the maze and welcome you to a new successful life in this vast and wonderful country.
